Summer Skates
Program Description
New Trier Hockey Club's Summer Skates program is a great way for players to stay on the ice and sharpen their skills over the summer. This in-house program runs for 7 weeks, beginning in mid-June (see season information on the right for exact dates).
Players will be placed on teams based on age, grade, and ability. Typically, there are four Varsity/Upperclassmen teams and three JV/Underclassmen teams. Varsity teams will scrimmage against other Varsity teams, while JV teams will play against other JV teams. All games are non-checking and supervised by the New Trier Hockey coaching staff.
Eligibility:
Open to all rising Freshmen through Seniors who currently attend or plan to attend New Trier High School in the upcoming school year.

Summer Skates 2025
Welcome to the 2025 NTHC Summer Skates!
We're excited to kick off another summer of fast-paced fun at NTHC!
Skate Schedule:
Summer intra-club skates will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, beginning June 9 and running through July 25.
There will be no skates on Friday, July 4.
Pricing:
$400 for skaters; $200 for goalies
Player Participation:
Each player will be scheduled to skate two times per week. Teams will rotate through the weekly schedule, ensuring a mix of game nights throughout the summer.

Team Formation:
After registration closes, NT Hockey coaches will create team rosters. Game schedules and team assignments will be shared once finalized.
Note:
We understand players may not be able to attend all skates due to vacations and other summer obligations. However, there is not an option to pro-rate the pricing / pay for skates individually. The program requires payment in full regardless of number of skates a player can attend.
